What is PulseNote?
You write down a concept; PulseNote brings it back as pulses — quick knowledge checks — on a schedule that adapts to how well you actually know it.
It is not a reminder app and not a note archive. The point is not storing what you wrote. It is knowing it.
What does it cost?
Free during the beta. Every feature is available, with no trial timer and no card.
After the beta there will still be a free tier, and it is meant to be genuinely useful on its own rather than a sampler. Alongside it there will be an optional premium tier adding specific extra features. Premium pricing is not decided yet.
Do I need an account?
No. PulseNote works fully without one, and in that case your notes, ratings and settings never leave your phone.
An account is free and exists for two things: syncing your notes across devices, and sharing a note by link. You can add one whenever you want, and the notes already on your device come with you.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Pulses are scheduled on your device — there is no push notification server involved — so they arrive with no connection at all. Writing notes, taking a pulse check and rating it all work offline too.
Syncing is the only part that needs the internet, and only if you have an account.
How does PulseNote decide when a note comes back?
Every pulse check ends with you rating how strongly the note came back. That rating sets the next gap:

The engine is a variant of SM-2, the classic spaced-repetition algorithm. Gaps run from a day up to months as a note proves it sticks.
You also control the shape of your day — the hours pulses may land in, how many per day, which days are active, and which topics are in play.
How do I get it?
iPhone — join the TestFlight beta from the home page.
Android — the Play test is a closed one, so testers are added by hand rather than automatically. Email support@pulsenoteapp.com with the Google account address you use on the Play Store, and you will get an invite once you have been added to the tester list. It is not instant.
Can I share a note with someone?
Yes — any note can become a clean, read-only web page.
Three things worth knowing before you send one:
- Anyone holding the link can open it, without signing in. Links are unlisted, not secret.
- The page shows the note's title, text, topics, images and your username.
- Links expire after 30 days. You can revoke one sooner under Settings → Shared links, and deleting a note revokes its link too.
If someone imports your shared note, they get their own copy. Revoking the link afterwards does not delete their copy — the same as a file you emailed.
Do you show ads or sell my data?
No ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and we never sell your data. This website carries no trackers either.

Can I use PulseNote as the only copy of my notes?
No — and we would rather say so plainly than have you find out later. PulseNote is beta software. Syncing to our servers is a convenience, not a backup guarantee. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
What devices and languages?
iPhone and Android. The app is fully available in English and Brazilian Portuguese, along with a complete dark theme.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account, then confirm with the six-digit code we email you. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
